first JavaDeveloper testpackage available [message #574545] Sun, 25 March 2007 16:10
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,

it took some time to resolve the feature dependencies... that's not easy if
you don't trust your own tools and when you spend many hours looking for a
bug in the build tool just to realize that it is the pde feature that was
missing to resolve all dependencies. :-)

Okay, but here it is, the first test package that can be downloaded:

* with installer:
http://download.innoopract.com/epp/Install-EPPTest_JavaDevel oper-win32.win32.x86.exe

* without installer:
http://download.innoopract.com/epp/EPPTest_JavaDeveloper-win 32.win32.x86.zip

It is a package that contains the Java features plus Mylar (including the
Bugzilla components), based on Eclipse 3.3M6. It is a package to get some
feedback about the installer, the content, and the handling of packages in
general. It is NOT an official eclipse.org download or an official release!

Please test it and send any feedback to the newsgroup or create Bugzilla
entries in the Technology/EPP product.

Additional download packages for other platforms and with updates will
follow in the next few days.

Markus
