Hello,
First of all you deserve congratulations for your efforts on the subject. You keep trying for almost a decade.
Secondly, i finally decided to make obsolete my own metric library, in a project that right now i am starting, but it is very difficult to find out how to use your library because i cannot find any documentation.
So, as usual i started to read the source code. Now i am able to create some tests, but i discovered that even the Javadoc needs some improvement.
For example Quantity<Length> needs to be changed as Quantity<Length> and the [code] tag must be replaced as <code> wherever you want different fonts or even as <pre> wherever you want to preserve the code formatting.
I am a lousy English writer but i also could write some examples. I think that an example with syntactic errors (in english ) would be better than no examples.
How can i contribute?

Hello Stathis,
Thanks a lot for your encouraging feedback and interest also in
contributing.
A decade may sound a bit exaggerated, unless you refer to the beginning of
JSR-108 or UCUM. I worked in Healthcare IT for more than that, it's around
16 years now, but JSR-275 I only joined around 5 years ago.
If you want to join Eclipse UOMo, please refer to either
Mika Terada <mika@ikayzo.com> or Daniel Leuck <dan@ikayzo.com> at Ikayzo for
an SVN user to this repository: http://ikayzo.org/svn/UOMo/trunk/
Note, this is for the Proposal phase. As soon as the project was created,
its repository shall move too Eclipse.org and all prospect committers may
need to request account there. When this is due, we'd tell everybody.
Should you rather wish to contribute to Unit-API (at Google Code), please
contact me directly or reply to this post.
Before doing so, could you please tell in more detail, which class in what
package you mean?
"Quantity<Length>" may be correct in a HTML page, assuming the JavaDoc
doclet does that already. It must not be like that in the actual JavaDoc.
Same for [code], I never saw that either in the code or generated HTML.
Please also provide some infos about your Operating system and its language?
E.g. if it was Greek that may partly explain.
While UOMo has no CI Server or live Maven site at the moment, the Unit-API
has both:

for JavaDoc.

As you can see, all HTML codes are fine here, but we're more than happy to
learn of issues that may exist in other source files not yet in CI.

Hello Werner,
You are right, i was mentioning the Unit API, because i am not familiar with Eclipse guidelines and i think that it will be difficult for me to join Eclipse UOMO.
About the HTML tags, i noticed the problem directly on your source code, because i did not found myself the apidocs page that you mentioned. At first, thanks about your suggestion and secondly i can give you an example.
In my Windows XP machine with Firefox 3.6 when i am looking the documentation for Quantity on the pages that you suggested i clearly see the tag code which is not parsed neither from javadoc nor HTML and i cannot see the Unit<Mass>.
Could you verify the behavior in you system?
I don't know if i have to bother this forum with that topic, and also i don't know how to communicate directly with you. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks, I'll look into it as soon as I'm at JavaOne in San Francisco.
Maybe also forward this message to Jean-Marie, co-contributor and lead
architect of the Unit-API (we used to lead JSR-275 together)
I shall meet him in Paris before my flight if he's got time. So we can
discuss possible behaviour in different browsers. My quote was from Windows
Vista in Google Chrome, but I have IE8 and Firefox 3.x plus 4 Preview, too.
If you wish to actively contribute to Unit-API, would you like to join the
mailing list "units-dev" at Google Groups first? If you're interested and
your time permits, we're more than happy about contribution (that's mostly
for the site and wiki or similar documents) or committing (that includes the
code) roles for people like you.
I understand your name sounds Greek, so I also want to mention possible
translation of Unit lists to further languages like Greek.
