Using Tptp 4.1: Tptp attach correctly against a remote RAC (on Solaris 8)
but is not able to collect any data from it.
After attaching the MOnitor shows "collecting" but nothing happens.

The remote agent is on a machine that is not in the same network but is
visible from the station i'm using and all ports are openned.
Does the remote agent try to connect back to Tptp in order to send
collected data ?

That's the standard data communication model for the RAC (RAC connecting
back to the client via an ephemeral port) unless the RAC is told to run
with isDataMultiplexing=true (see your serviceconfig.xml file), in which
case it sends the data back on the same original connection that
commands come through on.

It sounds like you're assuming a firewall type problem; yes, that's the
problem the isDataMultiplexing is intended to work around.
