This year: 2010!
There are now more than 25 years since Borland released a completely
wonderful editor. (For C programmers)
Still may put too much time chasing
Caret, for it flies around in all directions!
Example: you click the mouse on the right side,
Caret folds to the left!
Suppose you have a number of text lines of different lengths,
click the middle of a line, press the up or down arrows,
Caret obviously do not follow the column I clicked.
Is it more than me who tried to copy adventure
In case xx:, horror!
Any copy of the editor is a complete nightmare!
A time-consuming cleaning follow!
Could it be time to tackle the problem of jumping Caret?
Borland solved the problem:
-Caret completely independent of the text,
-if a key is pressed (letter, number, etc.),
automatic adding space to Caret position.
Elegant, no jumping Caret!
