Hello,
I don't know where should I look to find OFMP project next steps / schedule
/ milestones, it might be convinient at this stage to have a development
schedule in terms of priorities/coverage of functional and technical areas.
Given such target areas we could model the structure of Financial
instruments related to these areas (FpML is definitely good input in that
context), model business rules/processes/lifecycles related to risk
management, trading,... related to these instruments, then derive (in a
model driven engineering sense) an initial SOA skeleton (or components in a
broader sense). I believe that an interoperability model might be convinient
to tackle the various integration/interoperability challenges.
In that context we could contribute to OFMP by using our Model-Driven
Engineering platform to produce models, model simulators, alternative
architecures and components. Any *generated* artefact (code, uml model) can
be available in OFMP under the licensing scheme in place.
Hope this is relevant,
Best Regards,
Denis Avrilionis
