Eike,

To continue...I have downloaded the new CDO as per the short turtorial. I
am running on Linux, Eclipse 3.1.1, etc., and java 1.5.

I started mysql, created a new database cdoTest, then run the cdo example
and hit the button to create the resource.

Thats it. Then I receive the errors I sent to you.
