p2 can't find a bundle in repo, if both jar and pack.gz form is available [message #558463]

hi again,

I've been posting about this a while ago, but let me try to explain once again.

I have a repo with mixed bundles. Some are only jars, other are both jars and pack.gz. Now p2.director can easily find those bundles that are only in jar form, but cannot find any of bundles which have both jar and pack.gz form.

If I remove all pack.gz bundles and regenerate metadata, then p2.director works fine again with all bundles.

Why is that?
