Hi,

Please refer to the following URL for the PMC approved plan for upcoming
TPTP releases:

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/project_info/devplans/Eclip seTPTPProjectPlan2010.htm

Please note that there are significant changes proposed in the plan that
would affect all users and adopters of TPTP. Please make sure to take a look
at the plan and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. More
details will be posted in that document over the next few months as we work
through the plan.

Thanks!

Regards,

I expected this... TPTP has died some years ago :-(

The real drawback is that the Eclipse IDE won't have any decent profiler
then... :-(

Mauro.

I would like to understand why the profiler for eclipse has died. Was it lack of people dedicated to supporting it on the different platforms? Was it too complicated?

As stated earlier, the TPTP project had evolved and matured over the years.
It had been in maintenance mode for over two years. We will need
significant participation and contribution from the community to keep TPTP
going as an open source Eclipse project. Since this had not happened, we
proposed a plan to have an orderly archival of the project after the TPTP
4.7.2 release (February 2011).

Thank you for your interest in the project!
