Which IMO is the wrong solution. Yes, it fixes the problem, but
such a procedure is IMO a no-go for any serious software. The correct
way is to set the osgi.configuration.area to a directory where the user
has writing permissions. Unfortunately, Eclipse provides only marginal
support for this. Typically you will need an install program that
ensures that your RCP application.ini file is updated for the proper
osgi.configuration.area directory before its first start. It would be
often very much easier, if this could be done programmatically, but
alas there seem to be no way to realize that.
