earlyStartUp method - disable tool bar icon [message #557741]

I would like to disable the toolbar icon, based on the availability of some site. If the site is up, then my toolbar icon should be enabled. Otherwise, it should be disabled.

I know that, we need to write plugin at earlyStartup() method. However, i dont know, how to get the toolbar icon's handle inside the earlyStartuUp() Method, so that, i can set disable or enable, based on some business logic.

Could some one help me please in this regard.
