all views and editors can access to. Thank You!!

I cannot answer to this question without any further
explanation. Assume such a global variable would be
provided (and there are several means to realize that),
how would you ensure that *all* views and editors
use it?? You won't change the fundamental Eclipse source
code of views and editors, will you?

In other words: This question cannot reasonably be answered
without understanding your intended use-case.
