Error when exporting Runnable JAR with BIRT [message #555907]

Hi,

Problem: I created a simple class MyEdition with a main method. It simply initialize the engine and startup the platform. It works perfectly inside Eclipse. But when I export it to a Runnable JAR file and execute the JAR file, I got ClassNotFoundException for BIRT concerning classes.

What I want to do is: create a simple application that generate a pre-disigned rptdesign to PDF, and export it as a standalone Java application, like a Runnable JAR file.

Please help me out.

If you download the BIRT runtime there is already a bat(or shell) file
for running reports using the ReportRunner class. Look in the:
birt-runtime-version\ReportEngine directory for genReport.bat or
genReport.sh
