Hi,

I would like to know if there is any way to set the character encoding for the text that is getting displayed in the BIRT report.

I would like to use the UTF-8 encoding, so as to display even special characters in the report. If we use default character encoding, all the special characters would show up as '?' marks.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Madhuri

Madhuri,

Take a look at the fontsConfig.xml
under:
eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.fonts_2.6.0.v 20100428

It has comments that explain how font configuration works.
