sometimes when i switch between windows and return focus to eclipse, eclipse takes forever and freezes, and then unlocks, this is eclispe jee 3.5.2 all updated plug-ins, (size around 1gb).
i have windows xp sp2, 3gb of rams this these my settings:
-startup
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715. jar
--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.0.200 .v20090519
-product
org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product
--launcher.XXMaxPermSize

org.eclipse.platform

You can see the percentages, how much is through compiling. Rolling Eyes

Eclipse need sometimes verry long to get ready, but thats the speed of the processor...

now the problem is something else..
from visualvm, from what i can see, i see a lot of garbage collection from eden to survivor 0 then from eden to survivor 1, repeating.
