All the releases above and including 3.4.2 give me errors when importing a psf file. It could br 20 projects or 200 projects. The error happens less frequently with 20 but with larger psfs it fails all the time deleting resources. This leaves the workspace in an inconsistant state.

The error is 'Error encountered while deleting resources' It will tell you what resources that are in question. Usually the folder structure is what is left behind. No errors related to this in the .log file in the build metadata. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you importing over top of existing projects? Did you delete the
projects earlier without deleting them from the actual file system? Is
the workspace refreshed?

I can't imagine having this problem importing into a clear workspace for
which there aren't existing files already there in the underlying file
system because I do this all the time and never have the problem you
describe...

There is an existing workspace that is all head projects. While importing a psf with all tagged versions over an existing workspace the issue occurs.

Maybe you try this will running something out of your workspace. In that
case some files might be in use and hence locked.
