Hi Guys,

This is my first message on this board. I tried to create a JET project
with Rational Software Architect ("jet project with exemplar authoring").
I specified an ecore model file as input schema for my project. But
unfortunately the loader dialog says: Failed to load model
"/hf_model/Test_Model.ecore". I have tried with other models and realized
that the loader could have problems because i have nested packages in my
ecore model:

Package
|-------Package
|--------EClass
|-------Package
...

I didn't find any information about this. Is this a bug or did i something
worng? How can i solve this problem?

Thanks,
Heiko

Heiko:

(btw, this is slightly off topic, as it concerns IBMs tooling around JET,
rather than JET itself.)

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to get RSAs JET authoring tool
to use your ecore model as the input model for your transformation. Bottom
line is, I don't think you will get it to work. The JET tooling only really
works with ecore models that it has produced. My suggestion: if you want to
use the JET exemplar authoring tooling, use it to define a meta-model that
mirrors your existing one, then bridge between using either a model-to-model
transformation.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. You might find more insights on Rational
Software Architect on the IBM Rational forums:
