Sending commands to a remote shell [message #548736]

I'm a bit of an eclipse noobie. Here's my issue -- I have code (BASH and R scripts) that I would like to send to a remote server that I've connected via ssh (currently I copy the text out of eclipse and paste it into a terminal window). The remote system explorer (shell) seems to only offer a single line at a time, and no ability to send blocks of code to the remote connection. Is there any way to accomplish this? I tend to do single-line tests when I'm programming, so I'd like to be able to easily do this within the Eclipse IDE. Thanks!

P.S. I'm on a local Mac system but the remote system is Debian Linux.

Rig Subversion to accomplish this for you?

The RSE has sscp capabilities... you could just scp the files to the remote.

Note that there is a forum group dedicated for discussions about the
DSDP project (where RSE resides). Find it on the main forums page, under
the heading "Eclipse Projects."
