Hello *,

sorry, if this has been asked and answered formerly. (It must be pretty simple.) I want to put '[' ']' symbols into my generated text files and I'm looking for escaping the '[ /]'. I've tried already /[ /], that is syntactically correct, though it leads to some nonsense. I tried @text-explicit and @code-explicit as well, though that seems to do nothing.

Thanks,
Siegfried

Hi Stephane,

yes, I thought it to be that simple. Anyway, your answer is of great help.

Thanks a lot,
Siegfried

Hi Stephane

It defeated me too. Any chance of something in the manual next release?

Ed

Hi Edward,

I'll make sure we put something in the next version of the manual, for the moment I've put the answer in the online FAQ in the wiki.

Hi Siegfried, Ed,

That was a good question, as this isn't that easy to find out and was
indeed missing from the documentation. It has now been added and will
figure in the next released documentation version in addition to the FAQ.
