Hi,
Following demand for a more accessible project and code host Google Code has
turned out to be most efficient for the Units of Measure API:
http://code.google.com/p/unitsofmeasure/
This is a small but vital "bodypart" of UOMo, so having it close to where
Eclipse Labs is now hosted made it appealing, too. Where there was a benefit
it could be migrated to Eclipse Labs at a later stage with no effort and
more important no loss of SVN code history. We chose SVN since it is more
common and pretty well supported by even 2 (not equally stable/mature ;-)
Eclipse Team Clients.
Plus the API is extremely lightweight (~30k footprint) and rather stable at
release 0.5.1, so at the moment we wouldn't expect daily changes to the API,
just like the UCUM standard, another part of UOMo.
Please feel free to provide feedback here, or email me directly, should you
have a Google account and wish to contribute to the Core Units of Measure
API, too.
Kind Regards,
Werner
