I have a report with a column that contains SLA targets for applications
as a percentage.
The report will be aggregating the list of applications into groups.
My requirement is to express the SLA target for the group of
applications as the array of application SLA targets multiplied
together, basically assuming independent probability .... i.e. SLA1 *
SLA2 .... * SLAn.
I'm using BIRT 2.2.2 (yeah, I'm tethered to this version). If BIRT
handles this easily with it's aggregates, I guess I'm just overlooking
it, so I'll apologize in advance.
Do I need to write a custom aggregate to do this? Is there a good
example out there someone can point me to?
Would it be easier to do in my query? (I'm using DB2 as a backend)
Thanks
