Hi

Until a Helios release of UML2-Tools is made available to correct the
erroneous org.eclipse.emf.ocl dependency, the following workaround may
be used.

See
http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/FAQ#How_do_I_workaround_org. eclipse.emf.ocl_deprecation_in_Helios_and_later.3F

Regards

It is very unfortunate which UML2 TOOLS project is not active.
i wait for UML2 TOOLS 1.0 to be coming up in Helios ago long time.
i have worked many modeling projects with the UML2 TOOLS.
However, This solution is so pleasant for everyone use UML2TOOLS.
Thanks a lot.

I'm pleased it helps, but beware that it is very dangerous, because it
practically claims that Galileo and Helios are the same, undermining
p2's ability to ensure consistency.

I've 'successfully' created an installation in which the Sample Ecore
Editor is not in the Open With menu so that when it is invoked manually
you get a perverse ClassNotFoundException.

Make sure that you install everything you may need from Helios sites,
then install the patch, then install UML2-Tools last. Don't install
anything else later.

Hi

there is an incubation build which isn't far from a release build.

http:// modeling.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/downloads/?project=uml2too ls&showAll=0&showMax=5&sortBy=date

This should do a better job than any workaraound as there are also a lot of fixed bugs and enhancements in it.

Hello,

I tried to get that workaround running with Eclipse 3.6.1
(Modeling) on Windows, but get the error:

---snip---
'Installing Software' has encountered a problem.
An error occured while collecting items to be installed
---snap---
See:
http://tjung.lima-city.de/eclipse/update/local/

if I update the "mdt-uml2tools-Update-incubation-0.9.0"
from a local repository.

Btw:
A manual install and just copy the content of
"mdt-uml2tools-SDK-incubation-N201009140751.zip"
to the eclipse directory shows only
"Composite Sructures Diagram", "Deployment Diagram"
"Sequence Diagram" and "Use Case Diagram", but not
"Class Diagram" or other diagrams.

What do I have to do to enable the other types of diagrams
or what can I do to get all that UML2 Tools running?

Thomas
