Hi all,

At work, we want to migrate our RCP application to use the API of the new Eclipse
Helios release. For that purpose, we would also need babel packages for that
release. From what I see, there seem to be no official babel packages for Helios yet.

That's why I wanted to ask whether there is any official date for the release of
the babel packages (for german, french, and italian) for the Eclipse Helios release?

Also, are there any integration builds which could already be used while there is
no final release for Helios or is this discouraged?

Thanks a lot in advance!
Ovidio

Babel Language Packs 0.8.0 are now available, including Helios! See the Babel downloads page http://www.eclipse.org/babel/downloads.php for more information.

Thanks a lot for the update.

Also with regards to my earlier E4 post here, is there some branching or
Babel-Robot also for the 4.0 stream?

Hi Kit,

at first thank you for making the babel packages available again via
update site.
But we have a 'problem' with handling of the babel artefacts, because
there are sooo many. We want to build a localized Eclipse based product.
Using the remote update site on eclipse.org is very slow for so many
small artefacts, but creating a whole local mirror via p2 is also not
really successful (long duration with a lot a network problems). So my
question: Is it possible to get a all-in-one-update-site-archive for
local building?

Thanks
Ralf
