Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this forum, and a relative newbie to LinuxTools and Eclipse. Firstly, I'd like to say a big thank you and well done to the LinuxTools developers for a really promising and useful plugin!

I'm using LinuxTools in Eclipse Helios under Mac OSX Snow Leopard as a solution for development, before creating an Autotools distribution archive for uploading to a very remote HPC. It's a really cool solution for a cross-platform system.

I have a query about the "Binaries" folder that Eclipse puts in the project navigation panel. On my system it is not appearing, although the Archives folder (containing some convenience libraries in my project) is. This basically means that when I set up my run configurations, I have to use absolute paths to the binaries on the filesystem, rather that using a relative path within the project. Is this a misconfiguration on my part, or is it likely to be a bug in LinuxTools?

As I say, I'm a newbie to Eclipse, so if there's any debug output that would be useful, just say (and tell me how to obtain it).

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks!

This is likely an issue with the CDT's binary parser or its setup on
your machine. I suggest speaking with the CDT folks.

HTH,
