Hi sana

I presume you're using the Papyrus Sequence Diagram tool, so I'm copying
this to the Papyrus newsgroup. I'm interested in the answer too.

EMF and OCL integration has been much improved in the Helios release.
You might want to look at
http://help.eclipse.org/helios/topic/org.eclipse.ocl.doc/tut orials/oclinecore/oclInEcoreTutorial.html

With Papyrus releasing one month after Helios perhaps there is an
opportunity to provide something useful here.

hi Edward n others!!

im not using Papyrus Sequence Diagram tool. simply using visual paradigm to build sequence diagram in eclipse. now ive got another problem ..... ive installed EMF and OCL means copied features and plugins of both EMF and OCL in eclipse but nothing is displayed in eclipse editor regarding OCL ..... not in toolbar either in menu.....

im using Eclipse SDKVersion: 3.3.1.1 Build id: M20071023-1652 and installed EMF 2.3.0 and latest version of OCL

EMF and OCL plugin names are also not visible in plugin details.

is there version mismatch??

wat is the problem???

thanx for your concern....

Hi sana

You'll need to be much more precise.

Your words make sense but I'm unable to fathom the meaning. In
particular what is eclipse SDE.

Hi

Yes. You have a three year version mismatch!
The latest Eclipse (out last week) iks 3.6, EMF 3.6 and OCL 3.0.

I do not understand your other statements.
"ive installed EMF and OCL means copied features and plugins"
what is the subject of "copied".
what form of copy?
which eclipse editor?
....

Sequence Diagrams are not part of the OCL project so this is the wrong
newsgroup.

Visual paradigm does not correspond to an Eclipse project so this is no
Eclipse newsgroup is likely to be helpful.

Integration of OCL into a non-Eclipse project is again a responsibility
for that non-Eclipse project.

Use of a 3 year old release is also not a major priority for current
developers.
