Ok I have found this

"There is no recorder anymore. The existing recorder[1] was generating
broken code as it was never updated for version 2.0.

The recorder was recently removed from trunk and moved off to it's own
branch[2] for any future work that may happen on it.

[2] -

Now is my question if and when there will be a update for the record and playback to version 2.0

Regards
Darius

Maybe, if someone has the time to implement the entire recorder and make
sure it stays up-to date.

Its a pity to hear this. My company was looking for a RCP testing tool with directly this function. I hope this function will be available some day. Is there anywhere a website to monitor the porgress of the SWTBot project where I can see which tools will be released in next time.

Regards
Darius

Hi Darius,

If you are looking for a RCP testing tool with record and playback feature, I am pretty sure you can
find a commercial tool which support this. Like other open-source projects, if you really want a feature, you could contribute it
or fund someone/a company to realize it. Otherwise you could wait someone else contribute it, but in this case you should not expect
to have mandatorily a roadmap including this feature.

Best regards,

Mariot
