Hi,

Just updated to RC0 to find that org.eclipse.e4.core.services.context no longer exists. So started looking for the Javadoc to support e4 RC0, where is it? Also no release notes that I could find. Then googled to try to find a IRC or mailing list that mentions this change, no joy.

So the org.eclipse.e4.demo.contacts no longer works due to missing classes due to the change to the package structure. So where do I find out what it is?

David

IEclipseContext is in org.eclipse.e4.core.contexts.

The contacts demo from HEAD works fine for me in RC0.

Don't know about Javadocs or release notes, sorry.

Sadly were I work does not allow me to connect to a public CVS. So some supporting documentation of the changes would make a big difference. Typically I would expect package changes to be mentioned in release notes, but I could not find any?

Thx.

Try using the official eclipse cvs proxy if you are behind a firewall/proxy:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/CVS_Howto

In short:
proxy.eclipse.org 80
or
pebbles.eclipse.org 443

For me, the second worked.

You can get it using the Smart HTTP Git frontend

http://dev.eclipse.org/git/index.html

(don't forget to switch to HTTP uris and set your proxy variable if you
need to)
