Can anyone recommend a good license control solution for RCP application?

We are building a commercial software and would like to protect some plugins so people can not simply copy the plugin over.

Thanks a lot

Hi Steve,

A company jigsawsoftware.com creates a license manager which is currently on
Eclipse marketplace. I contacted them a while ago and they said they were
going to opensource the license manager. I just now dropped them a line to
find out about the state.

Keep you posted.

One other solution is to protect your software btw your plugins with a "Dongle". In our project we have protect "only" our plugins with a hardware dongle, which encrypt the whole plugins.

At the start up of the SW btw. RCP application the encrypted plugins will be again decrypt and laoded.

But this costs additional manpower ... the work is not to undervalue.
