We are starting a project in which a Spring backend is supposed to be integrated with RAP frontend. I have worked with standard spring mvc in the past and touched on some other RIA tools such as Flex and Apache Pivot but I have not worked with RAP before and never Spring and RAP. There are a few items/blogs/posts that touch upon RCP and Spring DM but the posts either leave out many needed details or assume a great deal of knowledge up front. Is there a book or article that covers using Spring DM with RAP with some thoroughness and depth that will work for those who do not have current in-depth knowledge of the two?

Hi Steven,

If you can read frensh, I have explained step by step 20 posts to explain how create an Eclipse RCP with Spring DM into http://angelozerr.wordpress.com/about/dynaresume/

I have tried to show the OSGi + Spring DM power with my posts.

Into each post, you will find some explanation of code and you will can download zip of the code. At the end you will have an Eclipse RCP wich display a User list by using Spring DM + JPA (EclipseLink /Hibernate).
