Hello RAP-team,

during the last weeks we had a lot of problems which were related to the
browser-side widget pooling. Currently, one of the [pooling]-tagged
bugs has a major negative impact on our application (202130 - [pooling]
StackLayout: Label.setText() doesn't work).

What do you think of the idea to add a switch which lets us easily
enable/disable the widget-pooling? This could be realized by a system
property for instance. Another temporary workaround for the above
mentioned bug could be to disable the widget pooling for the label in
the current CVS Head.

Regards,
Stefan.

Hi,

I would prefer the latter approach.

Ciao

Hi Frank,

could you submit this to CVS Head then? Or do you see any other
workaround for the bug?

Regards,
Stefan.

Hi again,

I disabled the widget pooling for labels in CVS-Head. Please confirm that
this works for you.

Ciao
Frank
