Hi all

How does Buckminster and the director application know where to get the
target platform components?

For example:

director -consolelog -r file://<path/to/p2/site> -d
<path/to/destination/folder> -i com.example.mail.product

If I am only supplying a local repository "-r file://<path/to/p2/site>"
(without target platform components, such as org.eclipse.osgi.services), how
does the director know how to resolve the required target platform
components?

Hi Greg

The p2 repository file://<path/to/p2/site> should already contain all
the required artifacts. It does so in the mail example.

Ok, and this is because useTargetPlatform is set to false.

Which leads me to the next question:

How do I copy the components from the seperate target platform build into
the workspace of the current CQUERY?
