Hello
Under c:\workspace, I have my old projects (without subversive), which I used for Eclipse 3.2
After i moved to helios RC3, I planned to use subversive. Installed successfully and tested with few new projects (checked-out to c:\workspace). All good.
Now time to import existing projects from c:\workspace to SVN (checked-out to c:\workspace), where i plan to keep it.
What I am doing now, is right click on existing project (non-sub) and import --> svn project
..then point to an existing Project\trunk, in the wizard dialog, i get four options, and i tried using all four, but at the end of the wizard, I dont get the sVN folder filled with the source src and bin folders.
What am I doing wrong? Is it my usage? I didnt take any training in subversive and am figuring out the right method.
If my question is confusing, you may answer my alternate question, which is, how can i import an existing project (C:\workspace\projectA) into a svn:\\hostname:3520\ProjA\trunk (checked-out to c:\workspace)

Hello Manny,
You can import project to SVN in the following way:
1. right-click the project and call Team/Share Project action, as a
result Share Project wizard will help you to specify all need options
2. select SVN
3. select existing repository location or create a new one
4. specify project location: you can use here either simple or advanced
mode. For simplicity select simple mode and provide the url or select it
by pressing Browse button.
5. specify comment and press Finish
6. then you'll have a commit dialog which lists resources to commit.
Press Ok to commit resources.
