Hello,

I am trying to use the PHP debugger with the Remote System Explorer (RSE from the target management project). I would like to use Xdebug, and have it load the source files using RSE as necessary. There is a lot of latency between me and the remote site, and RSE seems to handle this better than the other solutions I've tried.

RSE works fine. Xdebug works fine, except I can't find a place to tell it to load source files over RSE instead of from the local filesystem.

Has anybody tried this, and had any luck getting it working?

Thanks,

-----Scott.

I don't believe the source code lookup for PDT works with RSE. There may
be a solution in 2.2 I don't know. I do know that if you try to set a
breakpoint in an RSE file and use xdebug it won't work and you are
likely to get a nullpointerexception. Unlikely this is fixed in 2.2.
