Hi all,

I just wanted to announce that Sybase is making plans to incorporate the
open source BPEL Designer into its Sybase WorkSpace (tm) SOA product
offering. Can someone please post an updated schedule of the BPEL project
and where it stands today, so that we can factor this in to our release
schedule? We would also like to offer our services to the BPEL project group
in the form of additional manpower to make this happen.

Thanks!

Hi Bob,

First of all, sorry for the delay in responding.

We are very happy to hear that Sybase is interested in this project!

The plan that we currently have posted is a bit broken and we are in the
process of re-evaluating it (in the context of our current state and
available resources) so that we can shape the milestone plans
accordingly. Specifically, until we achieve the outstanding items for
milestones one and two, there's not much point in us scheduling further.

Your offer of additional manpower sounds great. Are there particular
areas that you would be most interested in working on? Also, if there
are any requirements that are not addressed by the plan that you think
are worth discussing for the current or future releases, please just
post them in the bpel-dev mailing list.

Welcome aboard, looking forward to working with you to build a great editor.
