Hello,

In a standard RCP applications all plugins are put in the plugins directory. My customer is asking me to put thier own plugins in a separate folder.

What we need, is some thing like this :
installDir\
+++++++\customerPlugins
+++++++\core
+++++++++++\plugins

in the core plugin we put all Eclipse librairies and frameworks ...

How to make this working ?

Thanks a lot

I'd start by reading this help section:
http://help.eclipse.org/galileo/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse .platform.doc.isv/guide/product.htm

There's the ability to provide Product Extensions.

Also, ask on eclipse.tools.equinox to see if p2 can create multiple
directories while creating/installing a product.

Are you looking at something like the dropins folder ?
As you can externalize this folder, it seems to match your needs
