Hi

The Helios Modeling package contains most of MDT, however the recession
has impacts within Eclipse too. MDT/UML2-Tools has no active developers
and so no Helios build has been produced. Discussions are underway to
find someone to progress a one-off build. (This is not easy; the ease of
formal Eclipse builds is only gradually catching up with the ease of
user builds; the UML2-Tools build uses rather vintage technology.)

It is hoped that Papyrus will offer comprehensive replacement facilities
in Indigo. The definitive 0.7.0 release of Papyrus is imminent, it
contains the basic UML, SysML and Profile diagrams.

Today, to use MDT/UML2-Tools with Helios, see
http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/FAQ#How_do_I_workaround_org. eclipse.emf.ocl_deprecation_in_Helios_and_later.3F

It is very unfortunate which UML2 TOOLS project is not active.
i wait for UML2 TOOLS 1.0 to be coming up in Helios ago long time.
i have worked many modeling projects with the UML2 TOOLS.

However, This solution is so pleasant for everyone use UML2TOOLS.

Thanks.

I tried out Papyrus and for me it's no option in its current state. At
least a state diagram is missing and it is not possible to generate a
diagram from a *.uml model. So...

....I'll try that one.

Hi

it is true that there are no active committers listed for the UML2Tools. But therefore development hasn't stopped, so it is very slow at the moment.

A new incubation build of the UML2Tools can be found here:
http://modeling.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/downloads/?project= uml2tools&showAll=0&showMax=5&sortBy=date
I didn't had any problems to install this with Eclipose Helios
