Hi

Sorry if I'm catching up a bit, but some time ago I mentioned that I'd
got issues with GDB Hardware Debugging in Eclipse (Europa I think).
I've now got Galileo with CDT 6.02 but there's no GDB Hardware
Debugging configuration group in there.

Is it supposed to be not there? One of the reasons I ask is that I
found a thread about it here:

http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cdt-dev/msg18685.html

Sounds intriguing.

Thanks
John

Did you install the plugin for hardware debugging? I think it is not in the default installation.
Help->Install New Software

Before you ask
- search this forum
- see the FAQ http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/FAQ
- google

No - I hadn't as it wasn't listed on the main Galileo update site and
the link I found to the CDT update site didn't have it.

However I have now found the
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/galileo update site
thanks to your help so I have installed it now.

Thank you.

It would appear that the update site I found was out of date. When you
do a search on Eclipse CDT Update Site on google it comes up with:

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/new/

as the first item which is a bit disappointing as that looks way out
of date. To be honest one of the things I find disappointing in
general with Eclipse links is that they seem to quite often abandon
pages and create new ones elsewhere rather than moving and updating
the old ones! At the end of the day though, I could have put more
effort in to looking around for other links.

... and have managed to debug using it!
