Hi all,
I'm going to probably rewrite a plugin I did ages ago and I was wandering
with the new upcoming helio there is something new I could take care in
consideration.

my plugin should login to an object db and mail display items (as it was a
local file system) and have the possibility to open files (that could be xml
/ images/ text) - xml/text file should be edited and possible validated as
well.

I have seen the RSE project ... is this the best approach to take in
consideration or is something better to explore.

many thanks
carmelo

Start with RSE and see how far that gets you. You would probably want
to write an EFS implementation if there's no off-the-shelf version
available to you.
