Hi,
I'd like to build buckminster from sources to generate the headless-product version, so I can debug an error I'm getting with the normal
3.6 builds (see http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=167817& amp;start=0& ). I've tried to follow http://wiki.eclipse.org/Extending_or_Contributing_to_Buckmin ster, but unfortunately I can't finish the materialization.
I'm trying to do this from inside a fresh Eclipse 3.6 installation into which I added Subclipse and all buckminster features (except cvs/git/subversive). I've first ran into problems because the target platform that I've set up (using download.eclips.org/releases/helios and Eclipse SDK) didn't include at least the macosx platform-specific bundles.
I've worked around that problem by specifying my current running platform in the component query and I was able to get further along, but now I'm hitting a road-block that I can't fix myself. As far as I can tell it needs eclemma. I've tried to install eclemma into my normal Eclipse, but that doesn't help. Adding the eclemma updatesite to the target platform doesn't help either unfortunately.
So did I miss anything? Is there maybe another way of building a headless-buckminster that I can give the hudson-buckminster plugin to debug my other problem?
