Hello all,

I am new to the Eclipse GMF. As of now, I have read through Eclipse Modelling Framework and have knowledge of plugins and RCP. ( So I am a pretty new newbie!! )

I wish to thoroughly learn the Graphical Modlling Framework.
However, do I require knowledge of Draw2D and GEF First?

Can any of you please suggest some excellent tutorial/ ebook/ book from where I can learn?

I have searched the net and that is how I have got an overview of the EMF. I have also visited ibm site:= "Learn GMF in 15 minutes", but then, as I said, I wish to learn much more as I want to make a case study for an ER Diagramming Tool.

So, things like composite nodes and many more features of GMF need to be learnt by me.

Please do tell me if you know of some thorough tutorials of GMF.

Hi Roy, the first link you sent gives me a PDF Ebook for using GEF with EMF.
However, is there any link to learn the Graphical Modelling Framework directly?

A thorough tutorial only for the GMF?
