Your synergies section is important too. Leveraging and being leveraged
by other projects is a good thing.

I have already read your proposal and see synergies between ORMF and
the ALF project, especially in developing a data model (and physical
interface as an ALF vocabulary).  I have already started promoting
participation within Serena, and have had some conversations internally.

I suggest you take a look at the ALF website ( www.eclipse.org/alf )
before we talk, as the goals of our projects seem aligned.

This looks like a very interesting proposal, though I see some overlap
with OSEE (you did acknowledge this on your proposal)

These point are well taken and be assured that Barbara and I are eager
to build bridges wherever their are opportunities to work together.

In particular, Brian, I am looking forward to speaking with you at
EclipseCon if it is possible.

On OSEE I see the projects as covering different perspectives of the
same problem. I am eager to learn more about the scope of OSEE and seek
out way for us to form common cause.

I've taken a look at the proposal and your web site, and it looks like
an interesting addition to the Eclipse community. I'm curious about the
relationship you've formed/are forming with the Eclipse Process
Framework project and how you imagine that will intersect with your
project plan.

Right now the relationship with the EPF is undefined, in fact I have
yet to contact them about exploring the possibilities. Requirements is
one of the major workflows for RUP and core to most every other
process. Having performed process engineering roles in the past, I
realised that frequently process tools leave an undesirable gap between
the defined process and the actual artefacts that should be created to
document the process. I think it would be rather neat if we could link
into EPF in such a way that the documents managed within ORMF were know
by EFP. Then when a process engineer creates a process for a project,
she would be able to define and link to the specific artefact types
that were to be used. Likewise, ORMF should be smart enough to read a
process definition and tune the ORMF workspace for that project
consistently.

Thanks for asking that question, it is something that we did not
develop at all in the proposal and it I feel it is really an deserves
to be exploration.
