I would like to know the syntax of source model for ATL (syntax standard of fichier.xmi source).

Hello graa,

It depends on your input and output metamodels.
I invite you to explore some ATL examples to see how the syntax exactly is in every case. You can open for instance the Families to Persons example from here:
http: // www .eclipse.org/m2m/atl/basicExamples_Patterns/

and compare the Families.ecore metamodel with the sample-Families.xmi file, which is its respective model. You also will see that the syntax of the sample-Persons.xmi model conforms to the Persons.ecore metamodel as well.

So basically your model (.xmi file) is defined in terms of your metamodel (.ecore file).
