Hi,
I'm currently trying to port some UI code that is using the
emf.transaction.ui to RAP.
The EMF/RAP wiki page was a big help to get started, but since there is
no emf.rap.transaction.ui package or the like, what would be the best
fit to handle declarations that make use of
TransactionalAdapterFactoryLabelProvider and
TransactionalAdapterFactoryContentProvider (since
TransactionalEditingDomain is not available)?
Are there any plans to provide an RAPified version of emf.transaction.ui?
Thanks & Regards
Edgar

Hi Ed,
Thanks for your answer.

So there are no plans to provide transactions and validation (+ possible
dependencies) for EMF/RAP in the near future, such that an easy
transition to RAP would be possible?

Hi,
We don't have such plan already though we'd like to extract a "non Eclipse
IDE dependent" editor so that we can easily reuse it in an RCP context.
We'll try to keep an eye on having RAP as a target platform for this "non
IDE" editor, I can't say I know RAP a lot, I guess the tough part might be
the way we draw ourselves the lines between both versions of the model.
Any contribution in this regard : building RAPified "triple-synchronized-
tree-viewer" editor would probably help us to get started on this.
