After upgrading to Mylyn 3.3.3, it seems like I'm getting a lot of spurious task update notifications on my screen. I would assume that the only reason I should see a task update notification popup is that the task has been modified by someone else? I'm getting these notifications for JIRA issues I've filed that haven't been modified for 4 years (and still haven't been).

The Mylyn JIRA Connector has moved to Atlassian. Please consider filing a bug
report at https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/PLE .

Please see this FAQ entry for further details:

I can't get to that site at this moment ("You don't have permission to access / on this server."), but when I went there before and tried to get through this process, I realized I couldn't figure out what project I was submitting a bug for, and what the version was. I can't figure out the version of the JIRA connector in Eclipse. On the Atlassian site (once it's up again), where do I submit a bug specifically for this problem?

The Atlassian site is experiencing problems at the moment. You could try
posting in the forum:
http://forums.atlassian.com/forum.jspa?forumID=124&start =0

In case your JIRA server was recently upgraded to JIRA 4.1 I would recommend
installing the latest version of the JIRA connector from the Atlassian site
which now supports JIRA 4.1. Documentation and installation instructions
can be found here:
