Setting debug script variables [message #524913]

I'm trying to set input HTTP_GET_VARS in Zend Debug. I can get the debugger to recognize that there is a variable, but all I get is the variable and not the value. Any help on what I'm doing wrong is appreciated.

No one knows what you did/how you debugged.

What do you mean?
If you can see '$HTTP_GET_VARS' in the Variables view, you must be able to change its value.
