i want construct grid with more than two column headers lines like this

| Autos |
-------------------------------------
| Honda | Toyota |
-------------------------------------
| Accord | Civic | Corolla | Sienna |
-------------------------------------
| 276 | 198 | 254 | 178 |

but there is no constructor for columngroup that can take ohter columngroup, only a grid, so is there any other solution?

i read the url, and i found that it is a bug, reported since 2008.

this bug is not resolved yet, isn't it ?

Qaouch,

As there is no patch implementing the feature - no, it isn't. I am just
using the Grid and would need the feature too. As a workaround I am using
multiline texts for the head labels.
If you want to implement the feature ... I think any voluntary work would be
higly welcome.
