Apologies, I forgot to mention this in the original post:

I edited widgetReg.xml in the org.eclipse.tptp.test.auto.gui_4.1.0/auto-gui
directory and added the following entry:
<class name="org.eclipse.swt.widgets.MessageBox" matchThreshold="1.0">
<method name="getData" weight="1.0" />
<class>
Then re-started Eclipse, but the recorded macro still did not recognize the
confirmation dialog (which is of type org.eclipse.swt.widgets.MessageBox).

Not sure if this matters, but for completeness sake (in case it matters who
parents the MessageBox instance): The MessageBox instance is launched by an
instance of org.eclipse.jface.wizard.WizardDialog.

Any and all help/input would be highly appreciated.

Thanks much!

- Stephan
