Hi,

I read in the FAQ it was possible to remotely debug an application, but couldn't set ip up.I'm trying to debug a Unix app on Windows.

On the Unix box I have a SSH server, a samba server, gdb, gdbserver, and my application compiled with gcc -g.

On the Windows box I have Eclipse-CDT and RSE. Why does the debug window ask for the application ? Should I point to the samba-shared Unix application, or copy it on the Windows box hard-drive (about network bandwidth) ? also, do I need to add the (samba-shared) source files to the Eclipse project ?

What else do I need ? First I'll try to debug a simple "Hello World" Linux app from Windows.

Thanks a lot,

Nicolas
