Autocomplete HTML/CSS [message #519204] Sun, 07 March 2010 20:29 Go to next message

I've done some Google searches for autocompletion for HTML and CSS files but I haven't found anything useful. I am basically moving from Dreamweaver over to Eclipse just to try it out. Dreamweaver autocompletes both CSS and HTML elements and I was wondering if Eclipse offers the same.

I am developing WordPress themes and really want to use one editor for the creation of all associated files.

Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

The Aptana plugin for html and css files has been very useful.

When editing your HTML or CSS code press CTRL-SPACE

In other words you must press and hold the CTRL key. Then press SPACE key.

It's call CONTENT ASSIST it's already activated by default in Eclipse. You can change the keys under WINDOW > PREFERENCES > GENERAL > KEYS
