Hi shekoufeh ,

Prior to QVTo version 2.0.0 only '<>' can be used for unequality.
Starting from QVTo version 2.0.0 shorthand '!=' was defined as synonym
for '<>'.

Sergey

Hi sh

As I responded earlier to you:

> Please follow the newsgroup etiquette and use a topic prefix.

As Hajo responded to you:

> please use medini-support@ikv.de

Presumably you are still asking about Medini-QVT and QVTr when you write
"QVT".

You are unlikely to get a useful answer without asking in the right
place about the right product for the right language with the right details.

Since != is not defined by QVTr it seems unlikely that Medini QVT
supports it. Since you provide no context for "but still I have syntax
error", we can just assume that you have another problem; quite possibly
a static type equivalence error between t and t.parent.
