Tomcat comes with some default application which can tell you things about the tomcat server.

When you ad a tomcat server to your workspace and start it, you don't get this applications?

What is th esimpliest way for me to add these applications?

Thanks very much.

If you have any question about why they aren't there, see the Tomcat
FAQ: http://wiki.eclipse.org/WTP_Tomcat_FAQ

If you want to continue using the separate Tomcat instance that is
created by default, open the server editor by double-clicking the server
in the Servers view. Then click the Modules tab at the bottom of the
window and use the "Add External Web Module" button to add the webapps
you want.

Cheers,
Larry

Thanks for that Larry. Is that modules section you are referring to in Ganymede because I can't see it?

Thanks again.

It's been there since WTP 0.7. The server editor is a multi-page
editor. The *tabs* at the bottom, Overview and Modules, switch between
those pages.

Cheers,
Larry

Good stuff Larry, I have a question on modules but I put this in another thread, I would be very grateful if you could cast an eye over it.

Thanks again.
